Information on floating interest rate

In all the loans issued for private individuals from 27.07.2010 floating (variable) interest rate is supposed to be used, which is determined as a sum of the Base rate and the Bank’s Margin .

The Base rate is a variable value, which is determined as a mean value (for 6 months) of deposit interest rate for households’ accounts in UAH for the term up to 1 year promulgated by the National Bank of Ukraine (watch the NBU web-page - article 4.1.2.11, column 9). In order to calculate the mean value, NBU data for the last 6 months is used except the month preceding the month of credit issuing.

The amount of the Base rate is set by the Bank on the basis of NBU data of the first working week of every month and stays in force until the last working day of the month.

As of 01.05.2012 the Base rate amounts 16,50% per annum.

In case of decrease of interest rate mean value (for 6 months) on deposits of households’ accounts to the level lower than NBU rate, the latter shall be used as the Base rate;

The Margin remains invariable within the whole term of validity of the loan agreement and amounts:

Reconsideration of the interest rate for current credit is performed annually on the first day of the month, in which the credit with floating (variable) interest ratewas issued.
